3.8 (SUN) – “FRUNCH” The Freedom Party Brunch in Williamsburg Brooklyn

Everybody is brunching these days. Your friends, your family, their friends, their family, everybody. Even the toughest, hardest dude on the block is sipping on Bellinis and ordering gluten-free quinoa pumpkin spiced pancakes on any given Sunday. And truth be told, some of the hottest parties these days are happening at, of all places, brunch.

So we here at Freedom felt it high time to toss our hat in the brunch ring and bring you a really fun, really doable, really bottomless brunch party of our own, and to do it in the beautiful borough of BROOKLYN.

We’re calling it “Frunch.”

(Name coulda been worse. Herbert wanted to call it “Challah Back.”)

On Sunday, March 8th, Freedom heads to Brooklyn’s illest new hotspot, Baby’s All Right (BAR), for a brunch party. BAR has two bars, two dining rooms and a separate dance floor/performance space, so we’ll be eating, drinking, mixing and dancing from 2pm – 8pm. BAR also has an amazing brunch menu, with the best French toast any of us have had in a long while, not-to-mention liberal usage of cilantro and avocado and sriracha and kale and bacon, and eggs many ways, and to boot, the bomb Pork Belly Benedict. (Herbert approved.) After brunch, a delicious dinner can be had, so you can stay satisfied till the end.

There’s no cover charge, no stress, no attitude or regular club-land drama, so bring the friends, bring the fam…Shoot…Bring the kids even, and come get your brunch on with Freedom!!!

The Longest Running Weekly Friday Night Dance Party in NYC History is now at:

96 Lafayette St, New York, NY 10013

On Friday, June 20th, Freedom began a new chapter of its story at Santos Party House, one of the last clubs downtown (with a killer sound system!), 96 Lafayette between White and Walker Streets, just 1.5 blocks south of Canal Street.

We set off our residency with an AMAZING night, the first of its kind in our 11-year history: “SO FRESH,” Freedom’s first annual 80s tribute.  We had Kool DJ Red Alert … AND … #MarleyMarl spinning 80s hiphop all night…TOGETHER (!!!!) in the basement, and Cosi, Herbert and Marc Smooth upstairs doing 80s rock, 80s r&b, 80s house, New Wave and more from that totally-awesome decade.  And if that wasn’t enough, we also celebrated the 30th anniversary of The Last Dragon, with Bruce Leroy himself, #TAIMAK, joining Savior Elmundo and Swagnista Keda as host and celebrating his birthday to boot!!!!!
