The Longest Running Weekly Friday Night Dance Party in NYC History is now at:
SANTOS PARTY HOUSE
96 Lafayette St, New York, NY 10013
On Friday, June 20th, Freedom began a new chapter of its story at Santos Party House, one of the last clubs downtown (with a killer sound system!), 96 Lafayette between White and Walker Streets, just 1.5 blocks south of Canal Street.
We set off our residency with an AMAZING night, the first of its kind in our 11-year history: “SO FRESH,” Freedom’s first annual 80s tribute. We had Kool DJ Red Alert … AND … #MarleyMarl spinning 80s hiphop all night…TOGETHER (!!!!) in the basement, and Cosi, Herbert and Marc Smooth upstairs doing 80s rock, 80s r&b, 80s house, New Wave and more from that totally-awesome decade. And if that wasn’t enough, we also celebrated the 30th anniversary of The Last Dragon, with Bruce Leroy himself, #TAIMAK, joining Savior Elmundo and Swagnista Keda as host and celebrating his birthday to boot!!!!!
It was a STONNNE GROOVE, BABY!!!
